Job summary
Hitachi Energy Ltd in Zurich-Oerlikon invites a Project Manager Structural Engineering to lead multi-disciplinary civil projects for GIS infrastructure. You will drive projects from sales support through fabrication to on-site installation, coordinating teams in Brno, Chennai, and with external partners.

Qualifications
- 3+ years in technical project management within civil/structural engineering.
- GIS projects or substation engineering experience is an advantage.
- Proficiency with CAD tools (2D/3D AutoCAD); Tekla Structures beneficial.
- Knowledge of Eurocodes, EN 1090 and building codes; experience with structural analysis software is a plus.
- Experience with SAP or similar ERP systems advantageous.
Responsibilities
- Manage structural engineering projects from design to fabrication and on-site installation.
- Take technical and commercial responsibility for project execution, ensuring schedules, costs and quality targets.
- Collaborate with sales, project management, engineering teams, and customers to define project requirements and deliver solutions.
- Coordinate engineering activities with teams in Brno, Chennai, and external partners.
- Oversee procurement and fabrication of steel structures and platforms; drive continuous improvement.
