Try&Hire in Switzerland seeks a leader to drive new product introduction programs for steam turbines. You will own integration of components into turbine modules and manage overall product quality, operability and performance in a global engineering context.

You will lead a team of NPI program managers and engineers, act as the main interface to product and program management, and collaborate with supply chain, operations and quality to deliver safe, on-time, cost-conscious solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Significant experience in turbomachinery or steam turbine engineering.
• Experience leading indirect or direct teams.
• Strong customer focus with Safety, Quality, Delivery Time, Cost orientation.
• Experience leading teams of technical professionals and sub-contractors in a global organization.
• Proficiency in English.
• Second language such as German, French, Spanish or Polish preferred.

Responsabilités

• Lead and develop a team of NPI program managers and engineering employees in a global setting.
• Act as primary interface in steam turbine engineering to product, platform and program management.
• Own integration of components into steam turbine modules and sellable product offerings.
• Own overall steam turbine product quality, operability and performance along with design practices.
• Provide resources and guidance to mission-based teams delivering NPI programs and projects.
• Engage resources in technical problem solving, root cause analyses and NCR/SDR resolution.
• Cooperate with functional interface organizations such as global supply chain, HR, operations and quality.
