Job summary

Hamilton Medical in Bonaduz, Switzerland is seeking a Social Media Manager to develop and implement a global social media strategy, create engaging content, and grow online communities. You will collaborate with Product Communication, Branding, and Marketing teams to deliver timely, relevant experiences for a global audience.

The role requires strong English copywriting, German knowledge is a plus, and a passion for medical technology.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of proven work experience as a Social Media Manager.
• Excellent communication and copywriting in English (C2) with German preferred; French as a plus.
• Proven ability to deliver creative content (text, image, graphic, video).
• Strong interest in medical technology and products; medtech/healthcare experience is a plus.
• Curiosity to learn and inquisitive mind.
• Basic knowledge of SEO, keyword research and Google Analytics.
• Experience with the B2B social media platform Oktopost is a plus.
• Willingness to monitor social channels outside regular hours.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a global social media strategy to increase brand awareness, engagement, and align with business objectives.
• Create compelling content that informs, inspires, and connects with Hamilton Medical audiences worldwide.
• Grow communities and boost engagement across existing and emerging social platforms.
• Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders to identify stories, insights, and content opportunities.
• Manage and moderate conversations across social channels with timely, professional engagement.
• Monitor, analyze, and report channel and campaign performance to drive improvements.
• Plan and manage the social media budget effectively.
• Stay updated on Hamilton Medical products and initiatives to deliver relevant experiences.
• Create and maintain news and event content for website, intranet, and Partner-net.
• Develop and distribute newsletters for customers and distribution partners.
