AFRY is seeking a Global Sales Manager Segment Hydro to lead international sales across the Hydro service portfolio. The role focuses on strategic opportunities, building senior-level client relationships, and promoting Hydro’s global capabilities.

The position requires a degree in engineering or business, a strong record in international sales, and willingness to travel. You will collaborate with regional directors to shape commercial strategy and drive growth in a truly global environment.

• Drive sales activities across the full Hydro service portfolio, with a focus on strategic, global and cross-regional opportunities.
• Identify, develop and pursue new business opportunities with Regional Directors and operational teams.
• Build and maintain senior-level relationships with key strategic clients.
• Promote Hydro’s global capabilities and foster collaboration across regions.
• Contribute to the execution of Hydro’s commercial strategy with the Segment Head and Regional Directors.
• Provide market and client insights to support commercial priorities and business development activities.

GLOBAL SALES MANAGER SEGMENT HYDRO (f/m/d)

The work location is flexible and will be agreed upon based on the candidate's profile.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Drive sales activities across the full Hydro service portfolio, with a particular focus on strategic, global and cross-regional opportunities
• Identify, develop and pursue new business opportunities in collaboration with Regional Directors and operational teams
• Build and maintain senior-level relationships with key strategic clients
• Promote Hydro’s global capabilities and foster collaboration across regions
• Contribute to the execution of Hydro’s commercial strategy in close cooperation with the Segment Head and Regional Directors
• Provide market and client insights to support commercial priorities and business development activities

YOUR PROFILE:

• Degree in Engineering, Business, Economics or in a related field
• Significant experience in international B2B sales, business development, or commercial management, preferably in engineering, consulting, energy or infrastructure
• Proven track record in managing complex international sales opportunities including commercial negotiations and client relationships
• Experience in international and matrix organizations
• Leadership experience with the ability to motivate and guide teams
• Good understanding of CRM systems and structured sales processes
• Knowledge of the hydropower sector and its international client landscape is a strong advantage
• Fluent in English; additional languages are an asset
• Willingness and ability to travel internationally

As Global Sales Manager Segment Hydro, you will play a key role in driving the growth of AFRY’s Hydro business worldwide. You will identify new business opportunities, build strategic client relationships, and connect expertise across AFRY. Working closely with our regional and global teams, you will help shape our market presence, deliver value to our clients and contribute to the development of our Hydro business worldwide.
