VAT Group is seeking a Quality Manager for Global/Key Account to act as the single point of contact for a major customer on all quality matters. You will lead a global team and collaborate with Product Management, Engineering, and cross-functional stakeholders to drive customer satisfaction and zero-defect quality.

The role requires extensive experience in quality management, semiconductor industry knowledge, and strong audit capabilities, with fluent English and German.

Qualifications

• Five years+ of quality management with direct customer contact.
• Experience with quality processes for high-tech components in global markets.
• Semiconductor industry experience including Copy Exact and customer requirements.
• Strong knowledge of quality tools and methodologies (8D, Ishikawa, 5 Why, Fishbone, FMEA, SPC).
• Auditor qualification or relevant auditing experience.
• ISO/IATF standards knowledge and audit experience.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Quality Expert/Manager or similar.
• Electrical/Mechanical engineering background is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Lead Global/Key Account Product Quality Engineers and coordinate with Product Management and global stakeholders.
• Serve as primary customer interface for quality topics, requirements, and escalations.
• Ensure market product quality and support customer-specific quality objectives.
• Manage quality escalations and initiate corrective actions.
• Define and track annual customer-specific quality objectives and initiatives.
• Own the customer scorecard quality section and related communications.
• Monitor quality KPIs and implement corrective measures.
• Standardize and optimize product quality and customer processes.
• Build relationships with customers and cross-functional teams globally.
• Lead or support customer visits and audits on quality topics.
• Collaborate with Product Management, Key Account teams, Engineering, and other functions.
• Foster a zero-defect quality culture through continuous improvement.
