Zusammenfassung

Hitachi ABB Power Grids in Switzerland seeks a Project Quality Specialist to drive quality across large, complex projects. You will partner with project teams, customers, suppliers, and site organizations to ensure quality requirements are understood, implemented, and continuously improved.

In this role you will work with the Project Manager to manage risks, uphold contractual quality, and deliver customer satisfaction.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field; master’s degree advantageous
• At least five years in EPC project quality management in large, complex organizations
• Strong knowledge of ISO 9001; internal-auditor certification is a plus
• Good understanding of SAP Quality Module and project/risk management; PMI/CAPM beneficial
• Experience with supplier/site quality processes incl. ITPs, PPAP, testing, punch lists, and lessons learned
• Knowledge of 8D, root cause analysis, PDCA, 5 Why, Lean Six Sigma, and FMEA
• Excellent English communication; German or other languages advantageous
• Willingness to travel to project construction sites and supplier locations

Aufgaben

• Plan, organize, lead, and monitor quality-related project activities and KPIs
• Develop and maintain the Project Quality Plan ensuring ISO 9001 compliance
• Collaborate with project teams, suppliers, and site organizations
• Lead quality audits, address non-conformances, implement corrective actions
• Monitor quality indicators and customer satisfaction metrics
• Coordinate quality requirements for critical equipment incl. ITPs and Master Test Plans
• Support site quality activities including training, audits, and handover
• Promote quality culture using structured problem-solving and Lean methods
