Job summary

Bruker is seeking a Head of Project Management Office (m/f/d) to unify global PMO standards and governance across hardware and software projects. You will lead multi-year customer programs, drive risk management and continuous improvement, and ensure on-time, in-scope delivery.

The role requires 10+ years in PMO leadership within complex tech environments, fluency in English, and experience with hybrid and agile delivery practices across cross-functional teams worldwide.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree as described.
• Minimum 10+ years in project management or PMO leadership.
• Proven leadership of managers or distributed teams.
• Strong governance, risk management, and contract execution experience.
• Experience in global matrix organizations and cross-functional collaboration.
• Fluent in English; additional languages advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Own PMO standards, methodology and governance; maintain within QMS.
• Establish a unified global planning process for project, milestone and resource planning.
• Govern multi-year customer customization projects with hybrid lifecycle.
• Manage and mitigate project risks with standardized processes.
• Control change and claim management on customization projects.
• Drive customer excellence and manage escalations at senior levels.
• Prioritize resources and align demand with delivering functions across orgs.
• Develop PMOs through OKR-based goals and agile management; coach teams.
