Job summary

Open Systems AG in Germany invites a seasoned leader to establish and mature a Global Managed Project Office. You will drive the delivery discipline, standards, and governance across regions, ensuring high-quality outcomes for enterprise customers while balancing customer needs, team wellbeing, and company priorities.

You will lead a global team, scale repeatable delivery, and maintain strong executive partnerships.

Qualifications

• 10 years in enterprise IT project delivery with multi-site implementations.
• 5 years in formal people-leadership roles managing project managers.
• Proven track record of standing up a PMO and raising delivery maturity.
• Experience leading geographically distributed teams across regions and time zones.
• PMP certification current and valid.
• Degree in CS/Engineering or related field or equivalent experience.
• Fluent in English; German is an advantage.
• Willing to travel internationally.

Responsibilities

• Lead the global project-management team across all regions.
• Define methodology, standards, governance and delivery quality.
• Deliver enterprise implementation projects on time, within scope, with client satisfaction.
• Own escalation management within project governance.
• Develop succession, hiring and retention for project managers.
