Zusammenfassung

Swiss Re in Zurich is seeking a Payroll Specialist to oversee accurate and compliant payroll delivery across Switzerland and several European countries. You will collaborate with internal stakeholders and external providers to ensure timely cycles and data quality.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of international payroll experience, Swiss payroll knowledge, SAP Payroll, and strong Excel skills. Fluency in German and English is mandatory; you will join a collaborative team of seven specialists.

Qualifikationen

• 3–5 years of international payroll experience.
• Proven knowledge of Swiss payroll legislation, social security, labour law, local taxation and double taxation agreements.
• SAP Payroll experience; ability to navigate complex configurations.
• Strong MS Excel skills for data analysis and validation.
• Fluency in German and English (mandatory).

Aufgaben

• End-to-end payroll for Switzerland and European countries.
• Process social insurance contributions and reporting.
• Handle share plan processing within the payroll system.
• Conduct data quality checks before submitting data to external payroll provider.
• Review monthly and annual results from external provider for accuracy.
• Oversee delivery of monthly payroll files to third parties.
• Produce reports for Finance, Pension Fund, Health Insurer, AHV.
• Specify system requirements and support change management.
• Coordinate international taxation topics across countries.
• Manage shadow and split payroll for assignees.
• Handle special payroll cases with precision.
• Document processes to ensure compliance.
