Job summary

Oerlikon seeks a Global OPS Continuous Improvement Manager to lead cost-out and transformational initiatives across global operations. Based out of Wohlen or other listed locations, you will drive savings, governance, and cross-functional alignment with senior leadership to improve profitability and resilience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Master’s degree preferred.
• 10+ years of progressive experience in engineering and transformation roles.
• Experience managing within a matrix organization in international settings.
• Proven track record in transformation environments and complex programs.

Responsibilities

• Lead cost-out and operational improvement projects, e.g., process optimization and footprint initiatives.
• Coordinate cross-functional transformation programs across Operations, Procurement, and Supply Chain.
• Drive governance, tracking, and reporting of savings initiatives across Oerlikon.
• Define savings targets with Finance and monitor progress; escalate gaps.
• Support crisis readiness, resilience initiatives, and backup planning.
• Prepare executive-ready analyses and proposals for senior management.
• Ensure transparency and execution of savings initiatives with measurable impact.
