Job summary

Julius Baer in Zurich seeks a seasoned professional to lead independent QA of key controls across non-financial risk types within the Consolidated Supervision team. You will identify control weaknesses and guide improvements, supporting international locations in applying the Internal Control Framework.

The role requires a university degree, 5–8 years in private banking risk/audit, strong leadership and excellent communication. English fluency is essential; German or French is a plus.

Qualifications

• University degree in economics or finance is required.
• Min 5–8 years in private banking, audit, compliance, risk or control.
• Ability to lead and influence senior management.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient MS Office; JIRA experience.
• Fluency in English; German/French a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead function for independent quality assurance of key controls across non-financial risk types.
• Identify internal control weaknesses and recommend areas for process and control improvements.
• Provide guidance on the Internal Control Framework and tools to international locations for implementation and reporting of results.
• Develop and enhance the quality assurance framework in line with FINMA requirements.
• Lead meetings with Senior Management and stakeholders across divisions and locations.
