Roche in Basel seeks a visionary engineering leader to drive industrialization and sustaining engineering for complex medical devices and combination products from innovation to large-scale manufacturing.

You will lead a global matrix team, shape multi-year roadmaps, oversee CAPEX and risk management, ensure launch readiness, and partner with external suppliers to deliver patient-centric solutions. Expect up to 10% international travel; relocation not offered.

Qualifikationen

• Advanced degree in science, engineering, or related technical field.
• 15+ years total work experience with 10+ years in medical device or combination product industrialization & manufacturing.
• Proven track record in external contract negotiations and handling IP areas with Procurement, Legal & Finance.
• Experience leading complex, multi-project portfolios and influencing roadmaps.

Aufgaben

• Lead end-to-end industrialization and sustaining activities from innovation to commercialization.
• Formulate and execute multi-year strategies and roadmaps across global teams.
• Direct a global matrix team aligning innovation, product, and technical development groups.
• Apply manufacturing, assembly, and lifecycle principles during product development.
• Drive project goals, supplier selection, and technical strategies with partners.
• Oversee risk assessments, CAPEX planning, and capacity securing for long-term manufacturing.
• Provide strategic technical guidance to senior leadership and ensure launch readiness.
