Universal Postal Union (UPU) in Bern seeks a Director of Human Resources to provide strategic leadership and oversee HR policy, programs and operations.

You will drive recruitment, career development, training, performance management, compensation, and staff welfare in line with UN standards, manage the HR Directorate's budget, lead digital transformation, and represent the organization in internal and external forums.

Qualifikationen

• Master’s degree or equivalent in HRM, Law, or related field.
• At least 12 years of management-level HR experience in an international or public/private org.
• Proven leadership in strategic HR, recruitment, staff development and HR programs.

Aufgaben

• Provide strategic leadership and oversight of the HR function.
• Formulate HR policies and advise executive management.
• Direct HR programs and activities including recruitment, development, training, and performance evaluations.
• Oversee compensation and staff welfare in line with UN standards.
• Manage HR Directorate operations, budget and digital transformation initiatives.
• Represent the organization in internal and external HR forums, including negotiations with staff representatives.
