Zusammenfassung

VAT Group is seeking a Global Strategic Sourcing Manager to shape and execute sourcing for Packaging and selected IT Services. The role collaborates with global stakeholders to drive total cost of ownership improvements and supplier resilience.

The position requires a degree in a related field and 5+ years in procurement, with fluency in German and English. You will negotiate complex contracts and lead multi-category sourcing programs in a global industrial environment.

Qualifikationen

• Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Procurement, Engineering or IT or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in procurement, strategic sourcing and/or category management.
• Experience in Packaging procurement or strategic sourcing and supplier market knowledge.
• Proven track record leading sourcing initiatives from opportunity to realization.
• Strong negotiation, supplier strategy and performance management.

Aufgaben

• Develop and lead strategic sourcing initiatives across Packaging, Professional Services, IT and other assigned categories.
• Analyze spend, demand, supplier markets, cost drivers and risks to identify value opportunities.
• Develop sourcing approaches and roadmaps to strengthen competitiveness and resilience.
• Lead end-to-end sourcing initiatives from opportunity through RFx, supplier selection, negotiation and implementation.
• Lead complex commercial negotiations with business stakeholders and Legal.
• Evaluate and develop strategic suppliers and drive performance and risk mitigation.
