Zusammenfassung

VAT Group in Switzerland is seeking a Strategic Sourcing Manager to partner with Business Units, Engineering and Operations to sustain the Global Category Management Operating Model. You will shape sourcing strategies and secure best-cost supply for elastomer, rubber and plastics categories.

Responsibilities include managing direct material categories, driving cost and supply base optimization, and leading cross-functional initiatives across Switzerland, Malaysia and Romania.

Qualifikationen

• Master's degree or equivalent in a procurement-related field.
• 4-8 years of strategic sourcing experience in a global context.
• Experience negotiating with EMS suppliers and components.
• Strong contract negotiation and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Proficient in data analytics and Power BI usage.
• Fluent in English; German language skills are desirable.

Aufgaben

• Manage own material categories with focus on Elastomer, Rubber and Plastics.
• Contribute to direct material category performance and cost optimization.
• Represent direct material categories within VAT organization.
• Develop category sourcing strategies per defined methods and tools.
• Lead supplier relationship management across Switzerland, Malaysia and Romania.
• Interface with BU/Engineering for PDP-aligned Strategic Sourcing activities.
• Drive cross-functional project leadership and change management.
