Job summary

Metso is seeking a Senior Manager, Electrical Engineering to lead the Global EI&C Engineering team within the Grinding Delivery group. The role focuses on safe, compliant electrical designs and control systems for Grinding equipment, driving standardization and engineering excellence across regions.

You will report to the VP, Project Delivery and work from Baden, Switzerland or other listed locations with a hybrid model. International travel is required occasionally.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, Control Engineering, or related field.
• Extensive experience in electrical, instrumentation, or control engineering within industrial project environments.
• Proven leadership experience managing engineering teams, preferably in a global organization.
• Strong understanding of electrical design, project delivery, engineering tools, and applicable industry standards.
• Ability to lead teams, prioritize effectively, and make sound decisions in a dynamic environment.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively across cultures and time zones.
• Willingness to travel internationally as required.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and develop the global EI&C Engineering team.
• Oversee electrical, instrumentation, and control engineering activities for Grinding equipment projects.
• Ensure project delivery meets safety, quality, schedule, cost, compliance, and technical requirements.
• Manage global engineering resources and support proposal, sales, and project execution teams.
• Drive standardization, process optimization, digitalization, and AI initiatives within electrical engineering.
• Build strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders across regions.
• Support technology development, talent development, and continuous improvement initiatives.
