Job summary

Jobgether, on behalf of a partner company, is seeking an Accountant based in Switzerland to maintain accurate financial records and own the Accounts Payable function.

You will contribute to the full accounting cycle, month-end close, intercompany activities, VAT compliance, and audit prep, in a lean international finance team within a growing crypto environment.

This role offers broad responsibilities, autonomy, and the chance to influence controls and processes across jurisdictions.

Qualifications

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline.
• Approximately 5 years of accounting experience (Big Four background advantageous).
• Strong knowledge of the full accounting cycle and general ledger.
• Experience with multi-entity and intercompany accounting, VAT, and audits.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end Accounts Payable processes, invoice review, coding, approvals, and payments.
• Prepare journal entries, accruals, prepayments, and adjustments.
• Coordinate monthly, quarterly, and annual closes with external accountants.
• Perform balance sheet and bank reconciliations; investigate discrepancies.
• Manage intercompany reconciliations and settlements.
• Support VAT reporting and cross-jurisdiction tax compliance.
• Assist with audit preparation and documentation.
• Identify control improvements and streamline processes.
