Roche is seeking a motivated intern in Global Engineering to support automation projects across the enterprise. You will work with SMEs to design, build, and validate an automation sandbox that enables hardware-to-IT integration testing.

You will gain hands-on experience in cutting-edge industrial automation strategies, collaborating with global teams to harmonize standards and document lessons learned for future deployments.

Qualifikationen

• Pursuing or recently graduated degree in Electrical/Mechatronics/Mechanical/Industrial/CS/Life Science.
• Hands-on PLC programming experience with at least one PLC platform.
• Fundamental understanding of industrial automation concepts and architectures.
• English proficiency is required; German is a plus.

Aufgaben

• Support global CAPEX automation projects as SME.
• Design, set up, and maintain an automation sandbox for IT integration testing.
• Evaluate and implement approaches bridging shop-floor hardware with upper-tier IT systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional global teams to harmonize automation standards.
• Document system setups and test results to establish best practices for deployments.
