Zusammenfassung

Hitachi Energy in Zurich Oerlikon is offering a 12-month internship as a Junior Project Manager to support large GIS projects and help improve day-to-day processes. You will take on commercial and technical responsibilities under guidance, plan costs and schedules, and contribute to cross-department cost-out initiatives.

You should have a technical background (BSc/MSc in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering), strong business awareness, and excellent English communication.

Qualifikationen

• BSc or MSc in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering is required.
• Knowledge of business administration and excellent communication skills.
• Very good English skills, spoken and written.

Aufgaben

• Take over commercial and technical responsibility of one or more GIS customer project(s) (coached by an experienced project manager).
• Plan project in terms of costs and time schedule.
• Drive engineering phase and ensure technical issues are resolved quickly; prepare and lead meetings with customer.
• Participation in various cost-out projects in collaboration with other departments.
• Improve process documentation (workflows, process visualization, continuous improvement according to lean six sigma principles).
• Improve project management tools.
