Our unit Gas-Insulated Switchgears (GIS), based in Zürich-Oerlikon, is active in the development and production of gas insulated switching systems. As a Project Lead Engineer, you will be responsible for the end-to-end execution of gas-insulated switchgear (GIS) projects, ensuring seamless coordination from initial planning to final delivery. Your background

• Educational Qualifications: Bachelor’s or master’s degree in electrical engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
• Min 5 years of experience in project engineering, ideally in gas-insulated switchgear (GIS), power transmission, or related high-voltage equipment
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in CAD software (Creo, AutoCAD) for design and engineering documentation
• Project Management & Tools: Experience with SAP, Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word), and scheduling tools
• Problem-Solving & Decision-Making: Strong analytical mindset with the ability to identify and resolve project-related issues efficiently
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Ability to coordinate across multiple teams, including R&D, production, procurement, and quality assurance
• International Experience: Comfortable working in a global environment, collaborating with diverse stakeholders, and adapting to different work cultures
• Language & Travel: Fluent in English; knowledge of German is a plus
• Willingness to travel occasionally for project meetings and site visits
