Join ALTEN Switzerland as Senior Software Engineer to support an important client in the banking and digital domain.

We are looking for a professional with strong front-end skills in Angular (v21) and solid experience in back-end development in Java, who will join an Agile Release Train in a SAFe context.

The ideal candidate is oriented towards software quality, able to collaborate in cross-functional teams, and motivated to contribute to the evolution of scalable and modern solutions, with a particular focus on front-end development.

They are also able to analyze functional and technical requirements, actively participate in the definition of solutions, and contribute to the documentation and continuous improvement of the product.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in backend development in enterprise contexts;
• Java 11+ (up to JDK 21), with excellent command of Stream, Lambda, Try-with-resources;
• Angular (recent versions, Angular 21), TypeScript and experience with Angular Material and UI Components;
• Spring Boot, Spring Framework, Spring Data;
• Relational databases (Oracle, PostgreSQL), including stored procedures;
• Fluency in English and Italian (spoken and written).

This role values nice-to-have expertise in Camunda BPM, cloud-native architectures (AWS/Azure/GCP), enterprise CRM, end-to-end testing (Selenium/Tosca) and DevOps tooling (Docker, APM tools like AppDynamics/Dynatrace).

Location: Lugano, Switzerland (hybrid)
