Job summary

SBM Offshore is seeking a Competence Assurance Lead to drive the standard operating unit during offshore construction and through to first oil. You will ensure personnel meet required competencies and leverage digital tools to manage assessments and KPI tracking.

The role includes coordinating Fleet Instructors, planning unit visits, and delivering weekly progress reports to meet milestones and sail-away readiness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field; STCW COC may substitute.
• Minimum 10 years offshore experience with instructor/assessor roles.
• Experience with competency frameworks and digital competency programs.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Competence Assurance Standard Operating Unit through construction to first oil.
• Monitor and implement the Project Competence Assessment Program using digital tools.
• Oversee Fleet Instructors and Training Analysts in your region.
