Job summary

Klarent is hiring a Founding Marketing Manager in Switzerland to own marketing end-to-end, including social media, events, paid ads, SEO, and AEO/GEO. You'll set strategy, build channels, and shape how Klarent appears to engineering and QA leaders. This is a rare chance to build the marketing function from the ground up with the founders.

You will lead and mentor a growing team, starting with a Marketing Associate, and measure pipeline impact across channels to drive growth.

Qualifications

• Proven B2B marketing experience across multiple channels (SaaS/devtools preferred).
• Demonstrated SEO growth through strategy, content, and technical SEO.
• Hands-on AEO/GEO optimization experience for AI-driven search/tools.
• Experience planning and optimizing LinkedIn and Google paid campaigns.
• Brand-building via social media and event execution.
• Ability to set strategy and write as a founder would.
• Excellent written English with clear technical product communication.

Our autonomous QA agents generate and run software tests without coding or manual work. Leading companies in banking, travel, software, and media rely on Klarent to catch bugs early and ship faster.

As our Founding Marketing Manager, you will own marketing end to end: social media, events, paid ads, SEO, and AEO/GEO. You will set the strategy, build the channels, and decide how Klarent shows up in front of engineering and QA leaders. This is a rare chance to build a marketing function from the ground up, working directly with our founders.

What You’ll Do

• Own the Marketing Strategy: Define positioning, messaging, and the channel mix, and turn them into a plan the whole company can rally behind.
• Lead Social Media: Build our presence on LinkedIn and other relevant channels, set the voice, and grow an audience of engineering and QA leaders.
• Run Events: Decide which conferences, meetups, and webinars are worth our time, and own them from planning to follow-up.
• Drive SEO: Own organic search strategy, from keyword research and content planning to technical SEO and reporting.
• Own AEO/GEO: Make sure Klarent is visible and accurately represented in AI-driven answers from tools like ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Google AI Overviews.
• Run Paid Campaigns: Plan, launch, and optimize ads on LinkedIn and Google, from targeting and creative to budget and reporting.
• Build the Team: Lead and mentor the marketing team as it grows, starting with a hands-on Marketing Associate.
• Measure What Matters: Track pipeline impact across channels and double down on what works.

About You

Must-Haves:

• Proven B2B marketing experience, ideally in SaaS or developer tools, with ownership across multiple channels.
• SEO Depth: A track record of growing organic traffic through strategy, content, and technical SEO.
• AEO/GEO Experience: Hands-on experience optimizing for AI-driven search and answer engines. This is mandatory.
• Paid Ads: Hands-on experience running and optimizing LinkedIn Ads and Google Ads campaigns.
• Social and Events: Experience building a brand on social media and running events that generate real conversations.
• Founder Mindset: Comfortable setting strategy one day and writing the post yourself the next.
• Strong written English and the ability to explain technical products simply.

Nice to Have:

• Experience marketing to engineering, QA, or platform teams.
• Experience building or leading a marketing team at an early-stage startup.
