Jobgether SRL partners with a fast-growing startup to hire a Founding Forward Deployed Engineer based in Switzerland. This role blends hands-on full-stack engineering with direct customer engagement to help organizations implement and scale integrations between applications and AI agents.

You will work closely with customers from initial evaluations through production deployment, playing a key part in shaping product direction in a small, remote-first team.

Qualifications

• Five+ years of full-stack software engineering experience delivering production-ready solutions.
• Experience working directly with customers or developers to understand requirements and guide implementations.
• Strong understanding of APIs, third‑party integrations, authentication, data flows, and production troubleshooting.
• Proven ability to design across application layers and contribute to architecture and product design.
• Excellent written and spoken English with clear communication of trade-offs.

Responsibilities

• Engage with customers throughout implementation, from evaluation to production deployment and ongoing support.
• Lead calls, deep dives, and live pairing to understand requirements and guide implementation.
• Build and maintain integrations with third-party APIs and services; ensure reliable connectivity.
• Design, develop, test, and deploy product improvements end-to-end.
• Investigate API behavior, production issues, and platform limitations with scalable solutions.
• Maintain clear communication; set expectations and outline next steps to support customer success.
• Translate customer needs into actionable product feedback for roadmap planning.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering to address both immediate and long-term goals.
• Manage multiple engagements with prioritization and reliable delivery.
