• Bachelor’s degree with 3–5+ years in shipping roles in both Germany and Switzerland.
• Deep expertise in shipping and knowledge of logistics, including customs, packing methods, transportation methods and regulatory compliance.
• Fluency in English and German is mandatory; French would be advantageous as the role covers Switzerland and Germany.
• Prior experience with SAP is required.
• Action oriented in a fast paced, client-focused and deadline-driven environment.

Aufgaben

• Arrange shipping and associated logistics requirements for all property.
• Work closely with the Pre Sale and Post Sale colleagues to deliver an integrated, consistent and exceptional client experience.
• Monitor and execute quote requests in a timely manner in line with established service levels.
• Respond to and resolve shipping and logistics enquiries and issues.
• Obtain quotes from shippers and related service providers and select the most suitable option for our clients.
• Assess and verify shipment requirements and enter or validate information in the system.
• Apply for CITES licenses or other applicable licenses as appropriate.
• Coordinate packing, local transportation, shipping and security for accepted client offers.
• Allocate tariffs to property international shipments.
• Monitor progress of shipments and troubleshoot with vendors to meet timelines.
• Liaise with Manager on shippers’ performance and KPIs.
• Ensure shipments comply with applicable laws and regulations.
• Plan consolidation to maximize efficiency and minimize cost.
• Maintain and scan all required documentation for shipments.
• Prepare customs documents and submit to authorities or shippers.
• Coordinate interoffice transfers to international offices and generate pre-alerts.
