Zusammenfassung

Hilo by Aktiia is seeking a Finance Manager to own the integrity of financial records and build the accounting backbone for scaling internationally. You will lead monthly, quarterly and annual closes across multiple entities, oversee accounting activities, and collaborate with external advisors across jurisdictions.

You will drive automation and AI to reduce repetitive work, strengthen controls and move toward exception-based processes.

Qualifikationen

• 5+ years of experience in accounting, audit (Big 4) or financial controlling in an international environment.
• Strong technical accounting knowledge and understanding of P&L, balance sheet and cash flow accounting.
• Hands-on experience owning or coordinating monthly and annual financial closings.
• Experience with multiple legal entities and intercompany accounting.
• Strong Excel/Google Sheets skills and confidence working with large financial datasets.
• Excellent written and spoken English.

Aufgaben

• Own the monthly, quarterly and annual closing process across the Group.
• Coordinate accounting across multiple legal entities and jurisdictions, ensuring consistent practices and timely reporting.
• Supervise day-to-day accounting activities of a two-person team, covering revenue, COGS, inventory, payroll, accruals, prepayments, fixed assets and general ledger accounting.
• Review journal entries, account reconciliations, supporting documentation and balance sheet accounts, ensuring outstanding items are investigated and resolved.
• Maintain the closing calendar, responsibilities and controls, including appropriate cut-off and accounting treatment across entities.
• Continuously improve the speed, quality and reliability of the close.
• Act as a key Finance contact for annual audits and reviews and provide required financial information and documentation.
• Partner closely with the FP&A team to ensure timely, accurate and consistent financial reporting and a clear understanding of financial performance.
