Job summary

Biogen in Switzerland seeks a Manager, Affiliate Finance to lead local accounting and FP&A for Switzerland and Austria, coordinating with Finance Shared Services in Warsaw. You will consolidate data, analyze trends, and support the Finance Director with budgets and forecasts.

You will own external expense coordination, develop monthly dashboards, and lead audits with a focus on SOX compliance and accurate reporting across the entity.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or equivalent in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline.
• 3–5+ years of relevant experience in a similar position.
• Proven analytics support for commercial operations.
• Advanced knowledge of accounting principles and financial concepts.
• Strong systems knowledge with Hyperion/Essbase/Oracle.
• Advanced Excel and proficient PowerPoint skills.
• Detail-oriented with strong communication.
• Entrepreneurial and ethical approach.
• Team player with fluency in German and English.

Responsibilities

• Lead local accounting activities for monthly, quarterly, and annual closings with Finance Shared Services.
• Prepare month-end entries, accruals, and reclassifications.
• Coordinate monthly close with Corporate Controller and explain variances.
• Support Finance Director with budgeting and quarterly forecasts.
• Own external expense coordination and AOP planning.
• Develop monthly dashboards with KPIs: Revenue, Expenses, P&L.
• Assist audits to ensure SOX compliance.
• Oversee supply chain finance with external logistics partner.
• Distribute standardized reporting packages and analyze performance vs budget.
