Equinix is seeking a committed Facilities Maintenance Technician to support on-site operations in our Zürich region. You will perform basic preventative maintenance, assist in incident response, and coordinate with vendors to ensure smooth facility runs.

Hands-on execution, close supervision initially, and adherence to SOPs will be essential as you grow with a team that values reliability and safety. A high school diploma and relevant experience are required.

Qualifikationen

• Typically requires a high school diploma and proven year of equivalent work experience

Aufgaben

• Performs basic preventative maintenance checks on-site to non-critical facility components
• Performs basic repairs and maintenance to non-critical facility components
• Monitors the Building Monitoring System (BMS) by following standard operating procedures; works under close supervision in responding to basic alarms
• Normally receives detailed instructions on all work; works under close supervision
• Coordinates with vendors on standard operating procedures
• Supports basic site logs for permits, such as: Maintenance Operation Protocol (MOPs) and scripts
• Completes basic routine work order facility requests under supervision.
• Assists in routine incident management requests
• Provides assistance to departments during routine maintenance activities
• Provides basic assistance to more senior staff on infrastructure projects; may shadow projects for learning
