Qualifikationen

• Several years of professional experience in the customs field and knowledge in export.
• Vocational training in forwarding/logistics or equivalent.
• Experience in customs clearance (import and export) desirable.
• Good German and English skills, both written and spoken; additional languages are an advantage.
• Confident use of MS Office applications.
• Structured, independent and meticulous working style; ability to work in a team.

Aufgaben

• Independently handle import (ATLAS) and export shipments (EDEC/PASSAR), including verification of customs documents.
• Record and process shipment data.
• Prepare customs declarations.
• Liaise and coordinate with customs authorities, public offices and internal departments.
• Independently manage and resolve any pending items.
• Advise and support customers on customs-related questions.
• Maintain customer master data and deferment accounts in ATLAS.
• Provide support for interface management.
