WEIDMANN Medical Technology AG in Switzerland seeks an Engineering and Maintenance Manager to lead engineering, maintenance and facilities, driving reliability, safety, and continuous improvement. You will manage capital projects, coach teams, partner with site leadership, and champion Lean manufacturing to enhance productivity and asset performance while ensuring regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline.
• 10+ years of progressive engineering and manufacturing leadership experience.
• Demonstrated experience supporting engineering operations within a complex manufacturing environment.
• Experience managing capital projects, maintenance operations, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Experience in paper, pulp, or similar process manufacturing environments.
• Working knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Experience using SAP.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, equipment reliability, and maintenance systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead engineering and maintenance teams while fostering accountability and continuous improvement.
• Oversee capital projects from concept through implementation, managing scope, timelines, budgets, and resources.
• Champion safety, quality, and performance across the site.
• Drive reliability, improvement, and asset performance.
• Establish and monitor KPIs to identify opportunities and drive results.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA requirements and ISO 9001/14001/45001 management systems.
• Manage budgets for CAPEX, engineering, and maintenance.
