Job summary

Lonza in Stein, AG, Switzerland, is seeking a maintenance engineering professional to shape and continuously improve maintenance strategies across technical assets and production systems in a greenfield sterile drug product facility.

You will collaborate with planners, service providers, and cross-functional teams to optimize performance, ensure compliance, and drive reliability with data-driven insights in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in maintenance engineering, planning, or reliability management.
• Strong knowledge of SAP PM for maintenance planning and asset data management.
• Excellent communication in German and English for collaboration with international stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Develop and continuously enhance maintenance strategies for technical assets and production systems to maximize reliability and availability.
• Establish and optimize maintenance plans, including spare parts strategies, master data, and documentation.
• Drive maintenance excellence through data analysis, KPI monitoring, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to schedule activities and allocate resources.
• Provide system training, troubleshooting support, and guidance to improve equipment availability.
