Qualifikationen

• Bachelor or Master in Robotics, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Automation Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years in robotics, automation, or industrial tooling.
• Strong understanding of robotic manipulation systems and industrial automation.
• Experience with end-of-arm tooling and third-party hardware.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management.

Aufgaben

• Own the end-effector strategy across industrial robotics applications.
• Analyze workflows to identify suitable end-effector solutions.
• Evaluate and select grippers, suction systems, hooks, tool changers, and robotic hands.
• Drive standardization by reducing end-effector variants while maximizing use-case coverage.
• Define requirements for future end-effector solutions considering customer needs and engineering constraints.
• Coordinate with external suppliers, partners, and development vendors.
• Support feasibility studies, proof-of-concepts, and pilot deployments.
• Define evaluation criteria and benchmarking methodologies for end-effector tech.
• Develop business cases for buy-vs-build decisions.
• Track market trends in manipulation and tooling.
• Ensure successful integration of end-effectors into the robotic platform and workflows.
• Contribute to the long-term manipulation and tooling roadmap.
