Consulteer in Zürich is seeking an experienced robotics professional to own the end-effector strategy across diverse industrial applications. You will analyze workflows and identify optimal end-effector solutions, including grippers, suction systems, hooks, and tooling.

Lead standardization, define future requirements, and collaborate with external suppliers and partners to enable deployments. Strong hands-on experience with manipulation systems and ROS2 is preferred.

Qualifikationen

• 5+ years of experience in robotics, automation, or industrial tooling.
• Strong understanding of robotic manipulation systems and industrial automation.
• Experience evaluating and integrating third-party hardware solutions.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills.
• Ability to translate customer needs into technical requirements and actionable engineering decisions.

• Own the end-effector strategy across different industrial robotics applications.
• Analyze customer workflows and operational requirements to identify suitable end-effector solutions.
• Evaluate and select commercially available end-effectors including grippers and tooling.
• Drive standardization and platform thinking by reducing end-effector variants.
• Define requirements for future end-effector solutions based on customer needs and constraints.
• Coordinate and manage relationships with external suppliers and partners.
• Support feasibility studies, proof-of-concepts, and pilot deployments.
• Define evaluation criteria and benchmarking methodologies for end-effectors.
• Develop business cases for buy-vs-build decisions.
• Track emerging technologies and market trends in manipulation and tooling.
• Ensure successful integration of end-effectors into platforms and workflows.
• Contribute to long-term manipulation and tooling roadmap.
