Job summary

CDDS AG is seeking a hands-on software engineer to secure our embedded Linux devices and ground systems. You will implement provisioning, authentication, key management, and secure updates, working with our security and compliance lead to translate requirements into practical solutions.

You will identify vulnerabilities, verify security on real hardware, and support compliance with technical documentation. Experience with Python/C++, embedded Linux, and hardware-backed key storage like TPMs is

Qualifications

Strong software development in Python and/or C++.
Experience securing embedded Linux systems.
Practical knowledge of encryption, secure boot, access control, and device security.
Ability to balance security with performance, reliability, and operational needs.
Experience with hardware-backed key storage, like TPMs.

Responsibilities

Write and maintain software that secures embedded Linux devices and ground systems.
Implement secure provisioning, authentication, key management, and software updates.
Translate security requirements into technical solutions with the security and compliance lead.
Identify vulnerabilities, implement fixes, and verify security on real hardware.
Support compliance work with technical documentation and evidence of controls.
