Job summary

Ideal candidates have strong Python/C++ skills, experience with embedded platforms like NVIDIA Jetson, and familiarity with security compliance such as NIST SP 800-171/CMMC.

Qualifications

• Strong software development skills in Python and/or C++.
• Experience securing embedded Linux systems.
• Knowledge of encryption, secure boot, access control, and device security.
• Ability to balance security requirements with performance, reliability, and operational needs.
• Experience with hardware-backed key storage, like TPMs.
• Experience supporting security compliance or assessments is a plus.
• Familiarity with US cybersecurity requirements relevant to defense suppliers is a plus.
• Experience with NVIDIA Jetson or similar embedded platforms.
• Experience with Yocto.
• Experience with embedded penetration testing.
• Familiar with NIST SP 800-171 and CMMC.

You want to help build the Western resilience and protect people and critical infrastructure. At CDDS, you’ll help secure the software behind our next-generation interceptor drones. We’re looking for a hands-on software engineer who understands embedded security and US security requirements. You’ll complement our existing cloud security expertise by implementing security on our devices and supporting compliance documentation from a technical perspective.
