Job summary

CDDS AG in Switzerland, Zürich region, seeks an Electrical Engineer to design and develop electronic hardware for C-UAV platforms and own the electrical system architecture.

You will work in a team responsible for all electrical subsystems, including power management, battery interfaces, and communication interfaces, ensuring robust real-world deployments and integration with mechanical and software teams.

Qualifications

• MSc in Electrical Engineering or equivalent field.
• Strong academic record essential.
• Experience with drones or avionics is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design and test electrical components like voltage regulators and power distribution.
• Create and test PCBs for flight controllers, sensors, and embedded systems.
• Develop software for embedded systems and interfaces.
• Integrate and calibrate sensors (IMUs, GPS, cameras, LiDAR).
• Implement reliable telemetry and communication systems.
• Document designs and coordinate with mechanical and software teams.
