EMEA Recruitment is seeking a seasoned Category Manager Electronics to strengthen Basel-based supply of electronic components. You will develop regional procurement strategies in collaboration with global teams, manage supplier relationships, and drive improvements across cost, quality, delivery and sustainability.

The role requires 5+ years in strategic procurement, a related degree, and fluency in English; German language skills are advantageous.

Competenze

5+ years of strategic procurement experience.
Experience with electronics/technical manufacturing environments is preferred.
Strong knowledge of supplier relationship management, contracts and sourcing processes.

Mansioni

Develop and implement regional procurement strategies for electronic components in collaboration with global category teams
Analyze markets, suppliers and industry trends to identify opportunities, risks and potential supply chain challenges
Build and manage strategic supplier relationships, covering selection, qualification, negotiations, contracts and ongoing performance
Drive supplier performance across cost, quality, delivery, sustainability and security of supply
Lead supplier development and optimization initiatives, including cost reduction, lean, inventory and digitalization projects
Work closely with internal stakeholders across procurement, supply chain and the wider business to align requirements and gain support for sourcing strategies
