Job summary

ALTEN in Switzerland is seeking an EI&C Software Application Engineer to develop, configure, and support critical manufacturing software systems used in highly automated GMP production facilities. Qualifications

• Degree in Automation, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
• Experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, or other GMP-regulated industries.
• Knowledge of manufacturing systems, automation platforms, or industrial software applications.
• Experience with SQL and system integrations.
• Familiarity with MES, DCS, Historian, or similar manufacturing technologies.
• GxP documentation experience is an advantage.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Fluent English.

• Contribute to continuous improvement and digitalization projects across manufacturing operations.

As an EI&C Software Application Engineer, you will work at the intersection of Automation, Manufacturing Systems, and IT/OT Integration, supporting digital manufacturing initiatives and industrial software applications.
