Job summary

Seargin seeks a software-focused EI&C / Automation Software Engineer to develop, integrate and maintain applications for manufacturing environments. You will bridge IT and automation, working with DCS/MES, databases, and data historians.

The role covers software development, IT/OT integration, validation, and documentation in a GMP/GxP context, ensuring data integrity and compliant delivery across projects.

Qualifications

• University degree in automation, electrical engineering or CS.
• Strong IT background with software development and data skills.
• Experience with automation or manufacturing systems (DCS/MES).
• Proficiency in C#, SQL, PowerShell and/or VBA.
• Experience with lifecycle management and GMP/GxP documentation.

Responsibilities

• Develop, configure and maintain software for manufacturing and automation.
• Design integrations between DCS, MES, historians and databases.
• Develop with C#, SQL, PowerShell and VBA; support IT/OT interfaces.
• Troubleshoot issues, perform root cause analysis and document designs.
• Test, deploy, validate and maintain software under GMP/GxP rules.
