GXP CONSULTING Switzerland is seeking a technically skilled professional to maintain and optimize critical electrical, instrumentation, and automation systems in a GMP environment. You will work with DeltaV DCS, MES, and SAP maintenance processes while collaborating with multiple teams to ensure reliability and compliance.

Aufgaben

• Keep critical electrical, instrumentation, automation, and process control systems running in GMP environments.
• Investigate failures, identify root causes, and implement sustainable solutions to reduce downtime.
• Support DeltaV DCS systems including troubleshooting, testing, and upgrades.
• Assist with MES (Syncade) and resolve issues across automation and manufacturing execution.
• Prioritize maintenance requests based on safety, quality, and production impact.
• Contribute to change controls, deviations, investigations, and risk assessments.
• Participate in commissioning, qualification, and validation activities.
• Collaborate with Operations, Automation, Engineering, and Maintenance teams.
• Support reliability initiatives and technology upgrades for the plant.

You will keep critical electrical, instrumentation and automation systems running at their best in a highly regulated environment, and act as the go-to technical partner for production and engineering teams.

What you will do

• Keep critical systems running: maintain, troubleshoot, and improve electrical, instrumentation, automation, and process control systems supporting manufacturing and utilities.
• Solve complex technical problems: investigate failures, identify root causes, and implement sustainable solutions to improve equipment reliability and reduce downtime.
• Work with advanced automation: support DeltaV DCS systems, including troubleshooting, testing, configuration reviews, upgrades, lifecycle management, and validation activities.
• Connect automation and digital manufacturing: support MES, ideally Syncade, and help resolve issues across automation, production execution, and electronic batch records.
• Make maintenance count: assess and prioritize technical requests based on safety, quality, production impact, and business needs, coordinating activities around manufacturing schedules.
• Ensure GMP compliance: contribute to change controls, deviations, investigations, risk assessments, qualification, and audit-ready documentation.
• Contribute to continuous improvement: identify opportunities to increase reliability, optimize maintenance strategies, improve processes, and introduce better ways of working.
• Collaborate across functions: work closely with Operations, Automation, Engineering, Process Engineering, and Maintenance teams to turn operational challenges into effective technical solutions.
• Support the future of the plant: contribute to commissioning, qualification, reliability initiatives, and technology upgrades.

What you bring

• Degree or equivalent qualification in Electrical Engineering, Automation, Process Control Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• Fluency in German; English is an advantage.
• Hands‑on experience with DeltaV.
• Proven experience in industrial maintenance, automation, process control, or manufacturing engineering, in GMP validated environments.
• Knowledge of electrical systems, instrumentation, and industrial automation.
• Experience with SAP maintenance processes, MES (Syncade), commissioning, qualification, or validation is a plus.
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset
