Zusammenfassung

ETH Zurich is looking for a Quality of Education Officer to drive the institution-wide Quality of Education Framework. You will steer the project from concept through anchoring in university practice, coordinating across 16 departments and central units to align processes and standards.

The role requires a Master’s in education sciences or related field, deep QA/HE knowledge, German and English fluency, and the ability to lead change with external partners.

Qualifikationen

• Master's degree in education sciences, higher-education studies, public administration or policy.
• In-depth knowledge of quality assurance in higher education with practical experience.
• Familiarity with accreditation requirements (HFKG/AAQ or comparable).
• Ability to lead negotiations across a large, decentralised organisation.
• Experience leading projects and change processes, with external partners.
• Confident with survey design and data-analysis tools.
• Knowledge of ETH Zurich's processes or ability to learn quickly.
• Very good command of German and English.

Aufgaben

• Conceptualise, implement and anchor the Quality of Education Framework.
• Steer the project and report on its results to management and departments.
• Harmonise central bodies and departments with a common framework.
• Coordinate with external partners and accreditation bodies on scope and deliverables.
• Run the pilot for first implementation in 2027 and oversee rollout.
• Represent the framework in committees and support strategic QA/QM matters.
