Zusammenfassung

SThree_Germany is seeking a Head of Downstream Processing (DSP) Manufacturing Operations to lead a cross-disciplinary team of engineers, biotechnologists and shift leads. You will drive safety, quality and on-time delivery while reporting to the Manufacturing Leadership Team.

You will oversee performance metrics, change controls, audits and continuous improvement initiatives, ensuring collaboration with MSAT, QA, and other functions across the site.

Qualifikationen

• MSc or equivalent in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Biotechnology or related field.
• Proven agility, adaptability and continuous improvement mindset.
• Strong collaboration and cross-functional partnership skills.
• Fluent in English and German with customer-focused stakeholder management.

Aufgaben

• Lead, develop, and coach a multidisciplinary manufacturing team with accountability for performance and talent.
• Ensure safe, compliant, and efficient DSP operations delivering campaigns on time and to quality.
• Oversee resource planning, training, and implementation of new technologies for readiness.
• Provide cross-functional leadership and escalation management with key stakeholders.
• Represent manufacturing in customer meetings, audits, and regulatory inspections.
• Approve change controls, risk assessments, and GMP documentation within the unit.
• Support site leadership as deputy to Head of Operations and contribute to capital projects.
