Job summary

Real is seeking an Associate Scientist - Downstream Process Development to plan and perform experiments supporting DS manufacturing. You will collaborate with a Project Leader and multifunctional teams to deliver timely DS, focusing on purification via chromatography and filtration.

The role requires hands-on experience in experimental design, execution, and troubleshooting, with strong writing and communication. Fluency in English and the ability to manage multiple priorities are essential.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as an Associate Scientist/Associate Expert or completion of a Bachelor's degree.
• Experience in experimental design, execution, and troubleshooting.
• Proven experience in the safe handling of chemicals, potentially dangerous materials, and equipment.
• Fluent in English (oral and written).

Responsibilities

• Plan and perform scientific experiments for the preparation and timely delivery of drug substance (DS) manufacturing processes.
• Collaborate within a multifunctional project team coordinated by a Project Leader.
• Conduct experiments related to purification processes, including chromatography and filtration.
• Contribute to project-related scientific and technical activities with guidance from experienced team members.
• Document scientific experiments and plant activities.
• Optimize existing methods and develop more efficient approaches.
• Communicate and address technical and scientific problems.
