Job summary

Coopers Group in Basel, Basel-Stadt, is seeking an Associate Scientist to plan and perform scientific experiments for DS manufacturing processes. You will collaborate in a multifunctional project team led by a Project Leader and contribute to downstream development activities using chromatography or filtration.

You will maintain lab instruments, document experiments, optimize methods, and ensure safety and timely deliveries.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of experience as an associate scientist/associate expert or a completed Bachelor’s degree.
  • Proficiency with laboratory and technical tools, as well as software and computer tools.
  • Experience with downstream development technologies like chromatography or filtration is a plus.
  • Basic presentation skills and scientific/technical writing skills.

  • Communicate and address problems, perform safety and literature searches, and manage chemicals and solvents within your area of responsibility.
  • Collaborate with other team members to facilitate deliveries of DS.
