• Analyse current GIS production line layouts to identify efficiency and quality improvements.
• Design and implement optimized production processes, including automation concepts and robotic applications.
• Conduct time and motion studies, process mapping, and value stream analysis to identify bottlenecks.
• Develop SOPs and work instructions for GIS assembly and testing, including automated and robot-assisted processes.
• Collaborate with other industrial engineers, production managers, design engineers, quality and new product implementation teams.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives, including Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma, leveraging digitalization and automation technologies.
• Evaluate, specify, and implement new technologies, including robotics cobots and smart manufacturing solutions for GIS production environment.
