ABB in Switzerland is seeking a Production Digitalization Specialist to optimize assembly methods, processes, and equipment, reducing labor hours while aligning with quality, efficiency, and cost targets. You will define working sequences for new production processes and manage product data flows and BOM transformations.
You will drive digital shopfloor initiatives across battery and converter production, support MES/ERP, Power BI, OT systems, and coordinate rollout, documentation, and training
Qualifikationen
- University degree in engineering or a related technical field, or strong technical background with relevant industrial experience.
- Experience with digital manufacturing, PLM topics and use of 3D models in manufacturing.
- Experience analyzing production processes and data to drive improvements.
Aufgaben
- Lead optimization of assembly methods, processes and equipment to reduce labor hours and costs.
- Define workflow sequences for new production processes to meet product cost targets.
- Drive manufacturing digitalization across battery and converter production with MES, ERP and Power BI.
- Maintain and improve production data, reporting solutions and shopfloor systems; troubleshoot OT networks.
- Coordinate implementation, testing, rollout, documentation and training of manufacturing solutions.
