Job summary

Medical technology invites a capable life science professional to join a cross-functional team developing and verifying complex diagnostics systems, integrating hardware, software, consumables and reagents. You will plan and execute work packages, act as SME for assigned areas, and design experiments in biosafety level S1/S2 labs.

You create test cases from product requirements, document regulatory items, troubleshoot and upgrade systems, and coordinate with hardware, software, and assay

Qualifications

• Degree in a relevant life science discipline or equivalent job experience.
• Interest in resolving technical problems and interdisciplinary teamwork.
• Experience in regulated labs with biosafety levels S1 and S2.
• Familiarity with software and engineering applications and tools.
• Experience in laboratory diagnostics and/or service and support is an asset.
• Working knowledge of English, written and spoken; German is a strong asset.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute work packages, including reporting and escalating issues to management
• Act as subject matter expert for an assigned area, guiding team members
• Design and execute experiments in biosafety level S1 and S2 laboratories
• Create test cases from product requirements and execute them, analyzing results
• Create regulatory documents and track issues, verifying bug fixes
• Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade existing systems, documenting software functionality
• Coordinate with hardware, software, consumables and assay development teams
