Medacta International is seeking a Demand Planner to manage large datasets, analyze demand trends, and provide accurate forecasts to support business objectives. The role requires clear communication with internal departments and external customers, and a commitment to continuous improvement of planning processes.

You will support budgeting and forecast sessions, assess extra-forecast orders, analyze historical data for seasonality, and assist lifecycle forecasting for Phase In/Out products.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in management engineering, logistics, or supply chain.
• Fluent in English and proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Experience with Power Query/Power BI is a plus.

Medacta International is searching for a Demand Planner. The Demand Planner is responsible for managing large datasets, analyzing demand trends, and ensuring accurate forecast to support business objectives. The role requires strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with internal departments and external customers, as well as a commitment to continuous improvement of demand planning processes.

The candidate will be responsible for managing the following activities:

• Budget & Forecast Support: Assist in the preparation of budget and forecast sessions by providing accurate demand insights and data-driven recommendations;
• Order Evaluation: Assess extra-forecast orders based on profitability, ensuring alignment with business objectives and supply chain capabilities;
• Demand Analysis: Analyse historical demand data to identify trends, seasonality, and patterns that influence future demand forecasts;
• Product Life cycle management: Support the business lines supply planners to properly manage the forecast of products in Phase In/Phase Out;
• Data Management & KPI Calculation: Utilize PowerQuery to manage large datasets, calculate key performance indicators (KPIs), and prepare data for Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) meetings;
• Collaboration & Communication: Serve as a key liaison between branches and internal departments such as Sales, Marketing, and Finance, ensuring alignment and transparency in demand planning processes;
• Continuous Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and effectiveness of demand planning activities.

Hard Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in management engineering/ Logistics/Supply Chain;
• Fluent in English;
• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office programmes (Word, Excel, Outlook and Powerpoint). Good Knowledge of Power Query and Power BI.
