METTLER TOLEDO, a global leader in precision instruments, is seeking a Supply Chain Planner 100% (f/m/d) to join the EU-HUB in Nänikon-Greifensee. You will balance strategic and operational planning, focusing on inventory levels and material planning to secure reliable supply across the business.

The role requires collaboration with production units, suppliers, and SAP-based systems, and offers a hybrid work model and broad training opportunities.

Qualifikationen

• Commercial education and solid business understanding.
• Further education in Business Administration with a specialization in Supply Chain Management is a strong advantage.
• Several years of experience in a logistics environment or in the Supply Chain area.
• Very good knowledge of MS Office and ERP systems, ideally SAP.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to connect and structure information within a highly complex environment.
• Excellent communication skills, combined with the ability to remain effective under pressure.
• A collaborative team player with a motivated, hands-on attitude.
• Very good German and English language skills.

Aufgaben

• Ensure standard work compliance and help develop/ improve SOPs for efficient SC planning.
• Material Planning and Supply Planning to ensure control and optimization of stock levels and material availability.
• Daily contact with our production units and external suppliers to expedite and ensure capacities are respected.
• Ensure inbound/outbound delivery performance for defined articles, costs and productivity.
• Resolve discrepancies with 3PL during shipments using JIRA.
• Support projects, escalation requests, and SAP tickets across the EU-HUB where required.

Our business unit EU-HUB serves as our logistics hub in Europe, providing logistical services for METTLER TOLEDO’s global service business as well as for the import and export of our products. To strengthen our Supply Chain Planning team in our global operative headquarters in Nänikon-Greifensee, we are looking for an experienced

Supply Chain Planner 100% (f/m/d)

In this role, you will take on a varied mix of strategic and operational planning tasks, with a strong focus on inventory levels and material planning. You will contribute to both long-term planning activities, such as analyzing demand trends and inventory reports, and day-to-day operational planning to support supply continuity and maintain reliable material availability across the business.

In this role, your responsibilities would include:

• Ensuring compliance with agreed standard work while significantly contributing to the development and continuous improvement of SOPs for efficient, consistent, and scalable planning processes.
• Material Planning and Supply Planning to ensure control and optimization of stock levels and material availability
• Daily contact with our production units and external suppliers to expedite and ensure capacities are respected
• Performance to customer to secure Inbound & Outbound delivery performance of the defined article range, costs and productivity
• Discrepancy resolution with our 3PL that may arise while receiving shipments in JIRA
• Supporting projects, escalation requests, and SAP tickets across the EU-HUB where required
