Job summary

DHL Express in Pratteln, Switzerland, seeks a Customer Facing IT Manager to promote e-commerce IT solutions, align with customers' IT teams, and manage projects.

You will work with sales, operations, and our IT department, delivering analysis, testing, and implementation while maintaining strong customer relationships. Proficient English and German are required; French is a plus.

Qualifications

• University or HF degree in IT/related field.
• Proven IT project management experience.
• Experience with API and EDI integrations.
• Strong industry knowledge; able to handle multiple time-sensitive projects.
• Fluency in English and German; French is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Promote e-commerce solutions to customers by analysing their IT processes and capabilities, then proposing and setting up appropriate solutions.
• Collaborate closely with customers' IT departments, sales, operations, and our IT team.
• Provide sales support, make solution recommendations, manage projects, perform analysis and testing, and offer ongoing support.
• Work from Pratteln IT Department headquarters within the Pratteln Service Center; report to Head of Customer Facing IT.

How will you contribute to the success of DHL?

• As a representative of DHL Express, your goal is to promote the use of e-commerce solutions among our customers by analyzing our customers' IT processes and capabilities, then setting up and managing our appropriate solutions.
• You work in close collaboration with our customers' IT departments as well as our sales, operations and our own IT department.
• The primary tasks of this role include sales support during pursuits, solution recommendations, project management, analysis, testing and support.
• Your work place is located at our IT Department headquarters within the Pratteln Service Center. In this function you report to the Head of Customer Facing IT.

Do you have what it takes?

• You have a higher education degree (University, University of Applied Sciences/HF) in Information Technology, Business Information Technology, Business Administration or a comparable field, or an equivalent professional qualification.
• You have proven experience in IT project management, customer integration solutions and/or customer-facing IT environments.
• You have experience with API and EDI integrations and proven record in consulting customers in this matter
• Good knowhow of our industry
• You enjoy working on several time sensitive projects in parallel
• You think in a focused, analytical and business sense, without losing sight of the needs of our customers and other parties.
• You are a team player, self-driven, resilient, and flexible, and you can work independently.
• Your communication skills allow you to build sustainable relationships with customers and business partners.
• You are fluent in English and German, Knowledge of French would be an advantage
